Generally, you should check out where other artists who publish similar works upload their content. Then create accounts in those places as well. That way, even if some of the other places are not to your liking, you will still have alternatives.
Or... you know... If some of those services goes the DeviantArt-route and decides that they treat their regular users as paying customers even if they only create sockpuppet accounts to steal art - and threat their artists as nothing more as a legal source of art to feed their AI with...
